A Comparison of Local Residential Square Footage

Family-Oriented Living Space

In keeping with the Strawberry community’s desire to maintain community character, North Coast’s proposed residential units are large enough to be considered family housing, but have an average size that is smaller than housing adjacent to the Seminary property.

The largest units in North Coast’s proposed redevelopment plan either already exist or are detached single-family homes around the perimeter of the site designed to blend in with similarly sized homes in the surrounding neighborhood.

Seminary Residential (excluding the CCRC):

Average: ~1,700 square feet

Local Comparison Average (data from public online sources):

Seminary Cove: 2,572 square feet

Chapel & Willis Drive: 4,689 square feet

De Silva Island: 2,106 square feet

Richardson Drive (to Reed Drive): 2,355 square feet

Ricardo Road (from Seminary Drive to Meda Lane): 2,026 square feet
